In 2011, he joined the legal department of a publicly listed global leader in the forest products industry, where he worked closely with executive management on major projects involving multiple jurisdictions and highly regulated manufacturing processes. He returned to Knox & Wells LLP in 2014 with a deepened understanding of his clients’ needs and priorities. His clients appreciate his availability, dedication, efficiency and his ability to deliver practical solutions tailored to each client’s industry and operations.

Throughout the years, Bennett has developed an extensive knowledge of linguistics. In addition to English and French, which he masters fluently, his linguistic abilities extend to Romanian, German, Russian, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. This knowledge has proved particularly useful in the context of international transactions. Bennett is committed to using his knowledge of corporate law to benefit his community. For this reason, he serves as a director of Friends for Mental Health, a non-profit organization that provides support and resources to friends and family of people suffering from mental health disorders. The destigmatization of mental health disorders is a cause that is particularly close to his heart.
